Introduction

On the far side of the universe, a few know the existence of an enigmatic race known as the Drall. No one is really knowledgeable about this race, as if the word Drall was nonexistent. A human mind couldn’t had possibly conceived or dreamt that large blobs of bacteria could reach this level of intelligence and size. Those who have encountered and collaborated with the Dralls made a happy trip to a fiery funeral pyre. The only species that specialize in nanotechnology and missile construction, a capital ship’s destruction is only a nanosecond away.

Their existence is unknown to the rest of the universe except to a few races neighboring their territory. Known to disdain conflict, but they also believe that force is only necessary when their survival and interests are threatened. Their sense of protectiveness outlines their core values and beliefs. Even traders and merchants are strictly policed, they disliked alien presence. They hold bonds stronger than what a family could hold for each other, their closeness and partnership with the whole community was crystal clear. Despite having over a thousand systems under their control, their threatening presence still remained invisible to other species of intelligent sentient life.

The Drall worlds were leaded by a band of youthful and gifted Dralls chosen by previous council leaders known as the Inner Circle. The Council members have the power to send its colonies to war with a whim. Anyone could’ve been a council member if he has the qualities of a leader. Only royalty and status stemmed that privilege off. Cydonia, the Drall capital and homeworld, is one of a kind. Its immensity can cloud and deprive a neighboring planet of solar energy for 3 months. Its atmospheric conditions are intolerable to other races only to find favor to the Dralls.

There were no children among the Dralls, they’re a sexless specie. Instead, reproduction is from binary fission. “Clones” that separate from their parent somehow differ a little bit. By nature, all Dralls looked almost alike. The very first Drall that took form from nature couldn’t have imagined that his descendants could reach the number of stars in a galaxy exponentially. Nature gifted them with long life and intelligence. By exchanging a small mass of their own self to another Drall, they communicate and trade knowledge, thus making education obsolete. Their blob-like appearance can deceive alien minds into thinking that their body is too elastic to hold objects, thus giving them the ability to shape-shift.

It was so ironic that Cydonia, the homeworld of the Drall is populated by giant industrial centers, skyscrapers and other buildings of interest. Colossal transport ships carrying imported goods from neighboring planets covered every acre in the sky. Strategic raw materials extracted from the mines are refined and purified. Large tubular structures known as megapolis towering high up into the air served as their residence. Research centers housed the think-tanks of the Dralls. Food farms are entirely automated; they have no other delicacy other than lesser colonies of bacteria cultivated in their farms. Not one sector was inactive, Dralls craved productivity and efficiency. Symmetry was not one of them and it is quite noticeable in their physical appearances.

Their left-wing political beliefs made all of them work for the common good, a true model for socialists and alike to follow. Commerce was nonexistent; they call their basic necessities for survival a luxury. Gargantuan columns of industrial centers filled the land zones of Cydonia. The planet is always bristling with noises. Not one second is spent to be quiet. It wasn’t long after they sighted a trader ship under the Toags. They were notoriously known for their intelligentsia-level knowledge in economics that brought economic ruin to many races.

It got extended to March 27th... And you STILL missed it

Hmm, that makes two...
What do you think, writers? Should I allow <DS> (and maybe Blue Aurora) to enter stories even though they are past the deadline?

Has VO posted anything at all yet? -_-

<D_S>... it's a good description of the Drall culture and such, but not really a story IMO; It reads as non-fiction :\

So not only is everything you wrote a description, you also didn't invent the race yourself <_<
