Disconnects

K...disconnects occur when (and correct me if I'm wrong) your internet goes out or you unplug it. or log off if on Dial up. Okay...I never do that....yet I have 4 disconnects on my account....how?

Not sure, have other players dissonected from You? Also, mismatches might give you one.

This reminds me of one time when I lost to an Air Force General. The game just exited & I looked at my profile. (I was playing quick matches so I saw it right off.) I looked at my win count & 200 hundred wins were added to it! That was so weird! I got a new account shortly after that because I didn't like looking better then I really was.

yea people have disconnected from me plenty. Today, some infantry general rushed at me with a helix and tried to dozer in my base...I killed the helix and dozer and he disconnects. :cry:

I still got the win though! :D

It didnt add to my disconnection though. It might have in the past though.

You can get DC's if other people DC on you.

I believe you get a disconnect if you disconnect from the server. If the other player is still connected to the server, he shouldn't get the disconnect.

Just keep an eye out for you profile to see if you get another disconnect. Then try to figure which you player before the might've caused it.

You aren't connected to the server at all while playing a game, thats why DCs exist in the first place.

No. To avoid having the DC show up in your stats click "Quit Game" on the DC screen if you know hes not coming back, you'll only get the DC if you let him time out (I don't know why, it doesn't make much sense to me, but thats how it works).

ah...I used to let it time out....now I just quit since it's annoying.

Many thx Derek. I also was to ask about it cause i've got 7 DC counts when i've never done none. But this explains a lot. In fact, i usually wait for the counting. But now i know... "Quit Game" and get to the next (but it really does not make much sense, does it?!:chin:).
