Missing global.manifest crash?

I successfully compiled my mod but when I sometimes change the game settings, it crashes saying global.manifest is missing or corrupt.

I've got a similar problem, except mine can't open data stream/global.manifest. and refers to a wrong/unknown mod name/version kernel32.dll http://img231.imageshack.us/my.php?image=gamecrashhg4.png

What graphics settings are you both running the game on?
