Is there a way to create new factions

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to add new factions rather than just modefying the existing ones

No one knows of a way ? I can not find the "XML" stating which faction are available. Last thing i could try would be to just add one and see if it's going to get reconised, but that's highly doubtfull. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Well, the only tutorial I found no longer seems to be there (it was at www.cnc3.net (http://www.cnc3.net)). I'll keep an eye out for any others though. You could try the PPM forums - they might have something.

no idea about how to create a new one, but if possible, which you want to add then? and which unit and superweapon will it have?

Probably another alien race, as for the superweapon i think temporary invincibility like RA2 had (ofcourse within a certain raduis)
