I've been modding zero hour for some time now and got some modding question for y'all.. happy if you could answer me as soon as possible so that i can fix these problems.. they are listed in order.. the top-most one is the one i need fixed first.
1. When i tried to replace / clone a unit, some work, some don't..
I.ex. if i want to clone a crusader, that works.. but if i want to change the appearance of the crusader.. say to an abrams tank. and change the AVleopard tag to AVAbrams my unit becomes non visible.. If i however replace my AVleopard.w3d files with the abrams model under the name AVleopard. the tank becomes visible.. is there any way i can fix this problem easily.. Thanks in advance, was thinking of using AVleopard1 / AVleopard2 models to make reskins of the tank for different factions, say the superweapon general's leopard tank should have the super weapons logo on it.
2. Is it possible to add sound when units get destroyed/and killed without removing the explosion sounds.. was thinking mainly of aerial units, when a Comanche / Black hawk helicopter or something like that gets shot down a sound should play (one that i already got) saying something like "i'm going down" "mayday, mayday" or "Black hawk down, Black hawk Down"..

Is it possible to add sounds to general points air strikes... like the Fuel-air bomb / MOAB and the A10 air strikes / Para drop.. + the specter gunship.. was thinking in ex. when i select an A10 air strike, marks a target and click the mouse button a sound should play like "Roger that, Air strike inbound"
4. Anybody know where the sound for.. i think its the 5th', maybe 4'th US mission.. the intro sequence.. when you hear a ranger call in coordinates for an air strike, goes something like "this is kilo-lima-lima requesting air strike at two,zero,zero,six,niner, over" and then HQ responds.. and fires cruise missiles.. want both the ranger sound and the hq respond sounds.. heck if somebody can write an list of what wav.file is what for the USA intros that would be fab.
5. Editing and cloning super weapons.. was thinking of giving one of chinas faction a super nuclear missile.. How can this be accomplished (all other china factions should still use the original nuclear missile)
6. Is there an easy way to add the ICBM so that it can shot nuclear missiles for all USA factions, also if somebody could help me out by removing the laser for the particle cannon that comes from the particle cannon building.. In the game manual it says that the particle cannon fires from the building, and bounce on a gigantic mirror in space (satellite) and then back to earth.. this sound's kinda... well stupid in my ears.. want to fix it up so that the station relays to an orbital satellite (much like the ion cannon) but still fires like the particle cannon.
7. Is there any way to add a red-point laser sight on ranger's? much like the avenger target-laser that it uses when firing at ground-based target.. it makes no damage and its a blue laser.. but coding it red instead. without any change in stats, (the avenger targets units so other units can fire more precise on that target)
Thats about all, reskining models so that they can be used ingame and super weapons cloning, sound when units are die'n are the once that i need help with as soon as possible, the rest are secondary...
