Map modding: Questions

I've been out of RA and YR for.... 5 or 6 years now, but I recently came across my old PC games doing some poking around old boxes and fell back in love with this awesome game. I have a few questions about the map editor, though...

I'm trying to do several things with YR multiplayer maps. First, I am looking for a Moscow map I can mod. I used to have one, long ago, but I cannot find it.

Second, I am wondering if there is a way to edit, or at least create edited versions, of existing MP maps.... specifically I have ideas for 'Rush Hour' (set in LA).

go onto the mix file on the CD of the game you wish to play. If you have your XCC mixer handy, just extract the maps from there. Same thing with the music.
