Map will not load

I made a inland map 100 H and 100 W. There is an island in the middle with water around it. A lot of gems. Oil derricks, and other special buildings.

When I click start game for a skirmish the screen goes black and I can hear the loading music. The map never loads and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del.

Anyone have an idea?

Don't break your map next time. :p

Just give it a minute. Sometimes it can take the game a while to process the map data.

Are you sure you didn't do anything else to the map? If you are sure you didn't, then try fen's advice first, then come back to us if it still dosen't work

sounds like a missing weapon or a trigger error, post the map

I had the same issue once except mine was when i loaded the game it would be black scren and then u coudn't see anything but if you clikced on of the buttons "Single Player" or waterver it'd take you there but u still couldn't see it >>>> unistall ra2 then reinstall that's wat i did and i believe that's wat fixed it >>>> (Do this as a last:cool: resort)
