I need help with rushing with nod, I usually play games with 40k starting money, I also play alot of GDI, I barely ever play as Nod and I heard that they are good with early rushing, I have tried time and again and have always failed in rushing with Nod, what should I do?I need build lists and unit build lists and anything you guys can give me, thanks!

First of all play with $10K starts. Second, there aren't any really great rushes in this game. But for GDI you can go engineer/APC or fast Orcas with early inf. As Nod you can ST rush or MCV rush.

I disagree, there is a lot you can do with nod in rushing.

i would say the best nod rush atm for nod that is almost unstopible if massed is inf spam in 1.08.

build order ( in redzone rampage): Crane>power and ref > hand of nod and ref> hand of nod and the nod inf tech building that allows nod's inf tech upgrades.:chin: > ref hand of nod ref ref ref ref ref etc. basicly tech up nods inf and build 4 hand of nods. have 1 hand of nod building minigunners nonstop, have the other 3+ hand of nods building rocket soldiers.
if your playing scrin or nod i would make attack buggies and or flame tanks also later on. mass a massive abount of inf in your base and hope that he doesn'y discover what you are doing.
when your inf have about 1000+ men start your attack.

other rush tactics for nod.

tech up really quick make sure you have enough refs for income, build 6-9 flame tanks. use the stealth field ability on your flame tanks ot make them stealthed, set the flame tanks to passive so they wont auto shoot enemies. then sneek them into your enemies base.

Shadow teams
Build order: power > hand of nod > nod inf tech buiding ( i cant remmber the name. allows upgrades for stuff, and builibility for shadows teams and spawn ability for two vet shadow teams to come into the map) > ref and spawn the two shadow teams with the shadow spawn ability while your building two more shadow teams > crane> Ref & Ref > Ref tech up build tons of tanks.
When you get your 4 shadow teams right away kill your enemies' Cranes, power tech buildings etc. this will greatly weeken him.

best to switch to anothet tactic. i normaly then start inf spam. already have the hand of nod. sometimes i stealth 4 flame tanks and send them in for the kill. or even the tactic below.

Combat bikes, Build and spam like 10-25 of these, move em into your enemies tib field, kill the enemies harvies, greatly weekens ur enemie's income, switch to dif tacic such as stealth flame tanks, scrop tanks or inf spam.

thats all for now :D

Um Derek, rushing is cnc, and nod is the ones that can do it fast and best... mcv rush is really 2v2....Nod can stealth troop rush, one of the best rushes if u get more than 3 buildngs... should be more than the men themselves... (saying 3 powers gdi, but not nod powers... too low priced...4 stop tech up, just keep em there and wait for scrin/gdi to tech up, only advisable if u can manage that kind o eco...)Try the infamous flamer rush, perfect for scrin invaders... specially the ones who try to tech up, flamers can kill 3 seekers at once... not nod or gdi, tanks too powerful... Try nodly infantry rush... or my favorite, the nod bike rush, takes the enemy down a notch, advisable for gdi non pitbull rushers, other nods... and scrin... but u need to have great pull to get them good...Tank spam early off is a great way to tackle non nod enemies, if enemy is nod, send a bike... and another involves getting a shadow rush in and sending engineers, now that im back to me comp, I will try one sending 3 engineers.... but not against any ol gdi apc rusher, pull off, and wait~!!!

Um Derek, rushing is cnc,
Nah, rushing like what was seen in ZH isn't common in CNC3. Some strats exists, as has been mentioned, but most aren't very effective. The game really revolves more around fast spams than rushes.

Bikes can work against Nod, because their harvesters have lower health, but they die pretty fast to be that useful against GDI or Scrin harvesters. A few right off the bat might do some good, but you can't waste your time, you need to get Scorps and rockets out fast.

Well derek, of course zero hour has more rushes, more factions, kinda simple there, and how the units of supply and construction can move around

Nod strats in consideration deplete money and weaken the eco when it comes to rush.. which a little eco 'rush' for gdi is much more effective... except shadow rushing, and a well played shadow rush is effective, I agree that rocket men and scorpions are better, but believe me when I say, the enemy can do the same thing, and when it comes to rush, inf towers can really make a difference if ur not just spamming one unit type....

And here's to hoping this game doesn't become totally rush based like some other titles *COUGHSTARCRAFTCOUGH* are...

If you're GDI, dropping a ZT pod in their tib fields will screw em up pretty badly as well! (Obvious I know, but still very effective!);)

Omg....He said it had barely any rushes, but in cnc3, there r ways to combine rushing tactics... for the ultimate rush... which I will try on him later...ZT pods come in late, better to simply pitbull rush...And I think that infantry being able to detect stealth reallly makes Zts not need that upgrade...Atm, I as nod am facing derek as nod, his prime strat is to use infantry tactic to destroy me, I have not been able to combat it, but once I do, I think the strat will be hard to beat...
Edit... Um, Ricko? look up at the thread name, I think ZT doesn't count as anything...

Whoa, whoa easy there people, were civilized people, living in civilized countries, there is no need for this kind of behaviour, respect and tolerane is key, otherwise how are we to fulfill our purpose as humanity as a whole?

Derek, its true I asked for early game nod rushes, but GDI are acceptable too.

Great job posting these posts, everyone, I'll use them whenever I play CNC 3, if I play it at all, now that halo 3 is out.
