Here is a little "small infantry" pack that I made a couple of days ago, because I didn't like the way the infantry in RA1 look so huge compared with everything. This gives them the correct proportions. (read the readme to see that I take no credit for the actual graphics, just the rearranging of them.)
Here (http://42mb.com/d/6429418/1190693956/SmallInfPack.zip) it is.

Sorry to disappoint you... but I made that ages ago in a MUCH smaller pack.

Red Alert infantry were big? :p

They were big, because they were resized in the 95 version of Red Alert. That's why there are two mix files with the high-res and low-res infantry graphics in them (as well as for the different unit & building icons). By the way, Nyerguds, I don't yet know how yours works (I haven't tested it yet) but the reason I used the hires and hires1 mixes was because the other way I did it was to put just the infantry shps and icons in a new mix file, and call them (InfId)S.shp, and give each of them in the rules files the line "Image=(InfId)S", but although that made them all the original size, the spy still appeared as the huge rifle infantry to enemies, making him easy to detect.
EDIT: I see now how you did it (putting all the infantry shps in HIRES1.mix). I should have thought of that. By the way, I tried to download yours one time, but it didn't download for some reason, so I decided to make my own.

Hello there! I got RA 1.08 and inserted the hires1.mix into my Red Alert directory. I still got the huge infantry. There was no hires1.mix to overwrite.
I already downloaded another version and extracted it again, but it still didn't work.
Whats wrong? Please help =(

So Nyerguds told me that I need at least the expansion Aftermath or the inofficial 3.03 beta-patch to use this small units pack.
Just for those who may have the same problems.
Thanks a lot!

3.03 isn't unofficial though; it was made by Westwood. It wasn't officially released as final patch though, so it's considered to be a beta.
Oh, and to avoid confusion, I edited the download entry at cncworld to mention this prerequisite.
