I'd like to host a tournament for Beng's Laser General mod. (You can download the mod here http://www1.cncmaps.com/zerohourmods.html, but the text files don't work right, so you download the fixed release of it here: http://cncmaps.net/index.php?showtopic=2316) If you'd like to join, just make a post telling me so with your online name. Mine is "MeMyself&Pi". You must sign up before 24 hours of the tournament starting. I'll post a braket shortly after the sign up deadline showing who will play what at what rounds. When you sign up, let me know which map or maps you'd like to play & what options you'd like each game to be, like, Limiting SWs, money setting, etc. I personally like to play the games on Tournament Desert with limited SWs at $20,000.
Day: Saturday, October 6
Time: 11:00am PST, 12:00am MST, 1:00pm CST, 2:00pm EST. For more time zones, go to http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
Place: Generals Onine in the Mod Maps room.
Rules:
1) Must be Laser General. (You'll get creamed otherwise!)
2) No using EA bugs to your advantage.
3) Be a good sport.
4) Save each replay. (Incase you think you've lost unfairly or two players disagree on who won.)
5) Report your wins & loses to me at the end of each game.
6) All games must be 1v1.
7) Each player must add the other players to their buddy list. So that we can chat to each other if something comes up durring game playing. (You can remove each player from it after the tournament.)
8) No game prolonging. If you're definetly going to lose, don't stick it out to the end. Most likely the other players will be waiting.
Every one will play each other so you don't need to worry about being aliminated after your first loss. If an odd number of players will join, then a Hard Army skirmish player will be added. (If there is an odd number, a player will have to wait in the lobby durring a round. The skirmish player will at least give him something to do. But note, the skirmish scripts aren't meant for the Laser General skirmish player, so it will act really dumb!) I'll report the name of the 3rd placer the day after the tournament, the 2nd Placer the day after, & the 1st placer the 3rd day after the tournament.
