I got Clockwise... however, I looked away, focussed on one of her feet, and I got anti-clockwise.

Dude, it keeps changing for me. One minute she is going anti-clockwise and then the next minute she goes clockwise then she changes back again. I'm freaking out.

I had anti-clockwise, but then I held down the left mouse key and dragged across the picture and she started spinning clockwise. Each time I go back now, I've seen it going clockwise. I figure in Sunny's case, it may be that you don't have a pronounced dominance of either side of the brain. If I recall correctly, it's really a spectrum than a clear-cut division, so you may fall close to the middle, which makes it seem as though the image is changing directions frequently.

I got clockwise, and still get clockwise.

I can't see anticlockwise... she's so obviously turning clockwise :p

Nothing but clock-wise, no matter what I do.

Saw it clock-wise first, then all of a sudden it went counter-clockwise for me and I could'nt see it otherwise after that... man, this test is a weird one.

EDIT: HOLY S***! I just looked away for a moment, and it all of a sudden looked clockwise again! This thing's gotta be rigged somehow or another!!!:dismay:

Save the image, and have a look at the frames in any type of .gif editor...

I stared at it for like a minute, and all I got was clockwise.

It occurred to me Rolk, but I don't have one on my new(ish) computer. Reach any interesting conclusions?

Nope... It's 100% legit.

I guess it's actually right, it is all to do with the brain.

I got clockwise, but for a split moment there was anti or counter clockwise, but it didn't last once I read the article, then it stayed clockwise

I actually got it to change by thinking of logic to counterclockwise, and it is hard but not impossible to get it back to clockwise, it's weird

She only turns counter-clockwise for me when I'm not paying attention to her (eg: Reading the 'Right Brain' thing, while she is still in the corner of my eye)

WOO! RIGHT BRAIN RULES!

Also, I just realized that shadow-woman there isn't wearing any clothing articles.

you just realized that?;)

I can control whether it turns clockwise or counter clockwise. At first though it was going clockwise.

All the more reason to stare at it until it goes counter-clockwise! :gnarly:

It took a few minutes to get anything other than counterclockwise.

Once i figured it out, it was kind of amusing to make her switch directions. :D The trick is her feet.

Nod Fanatic

Clockwise.
Edit: Whoah, it changed to counter when I turned my head away, but it always go back to clockwise every time I look directly at it!

The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if the website is programmed to replace it with a different reverse gif every so often :D

I'm gonna stare at it some more.

I can change between the two. All you have to do is make her go the other way in your mind.

Edit: Everytime I look at her ass, it goes back to clockwise. :D

Ok, I just blew my roommate's minds with this. Also, I've finally reached the point where I can change it at will. Very cool.

Aha epic win.

I just tried and I can get her to switch directions too.

Avapodnaught

thought it was just the site but I waited for a while, and tried it again a couple of times, but she won't move when I do my thing, which isn't hard to do at all, I just try and look at the space above her head and not think
I wonder what would happen if I crossed my eyes

Scoot

I can only seen her move counterclockwise.

Is the image supposed to just stop at times or is that my head going "WTF?" for a minute?

Edit: I've learned how to change its direction!

I've shown all my friends this and they're ****ting themselves over it too. What have you unleashed on us rolk?

Clockwise and I can't get it to change - I logically analyzed what counterclockwise would look like, and what she's doing is not that - the leg sticking out at an angle is clearly her right leg, and when that leg is on the right side of the picture, it's getting closer to you = clockwise.

sterio
10-10-2007, 10:24 AM
I did the same as you, Stat, and I thought "uuh, that's not counterclockwise"... but then, suddenly, it was as if she'd switched directions! And I tried to analyze that, and couldn't possibly see how she could move clockwise... then she switched again, and has stayed like that since... :p

All silhouettes have that same property- A part that appears to be in the front could just as easily be in the back, and vice-versa. This one is just so highly detailed, and is such a familiar form, that we get it in our heads as one thing and it's very hard to change!
