Was browsing through another forum I frequent, and I stumbled upon some corpses in need of a life.

Forum was created in 2001. The forum probably crashed once or twice since then so I'll give these zombies the benefit of the doubt.


If the member joined in 2001 and posted 7 days a week, 365 days a year then this would be his/her daily post count.

It'd be a full time job making 140 posts per day.

My current PPD is 3.6-- used to be closer to 5, but I guess you people just don't talk about such interesting things anymore :p

It actually wouldn't be that hard given 1) You have nothing better to do all day and 2) The foums were suffeciantly active. Even if I had the time (I don't) these forums aren't active enough for me to post 138 times a day. In fact for the last few months they've been even slower than usual, and my PPD has probably dropped as a result :p

Of course, its been slowly dropping for over two years now, when I stopped posting in the Spam Dump game threads (which are all long dead now). My PPD right now is just under 10, a few months after I joined it was about 25. The highest I've ever seen on these forums was Marxman (aka Chopbam) at 30 shortly after he joined (he hardly ever posts now though).

This is the forum's current stats...I guess they're not lacking in content. Still, 138 times a day is insane.

I have 4.82 posts per day and the funny thing is this is post #7,000. I never keep track of my milestones but I saw it b/c this thread inspired me to go check my posts/day stats. 138/day is ludicrous, even when I was a lot less busy than I am now I didn't post that much day on all 3-5 of my forums combined!

5.27, it isn't hard to make that many posts for me, but like derek says, you need more activity, and this place isn't much of the supplier (much more when I first came, hasn't been that long, but there is nothing to talk about when things that isn't really surprising happens, like this)

I have 0.62 over at another forum I frequent (been there since 2001). I might have an even more impressive one once I find my playstation boards password (to the tune of about .2-ish)

Yeah, talking to people who live in my monitor isnt as fun as it probably should be.

If you divided that amongst members who have 5+ posts it'd be *alot* higher.

I average 3.08 posts per day. It was around 4 before I my temp-ban.

The stats are also misleading b/c the forum discards posts that are more than so-many days old. So my post/day and total posts are right, but I've made more than 357 posts in the Spam Dump and I definitely haven't made 1/11th of all posts here.

No, we can't. Though we can find the direct URL by studying the pattern of URLs for the other forum sections and using the process of elimination, but it won't get us into it :(

FTR, the Mod-only forums are 2 and 35. One of those is The Boyz Room and the other is where they put the "deleted" threads. Since the numbers are in chronological order, I'm guessing The Boyz Room is 2. :wave:

Every forum needs a staff area so they can discuss stuff away from the members, even mine has one although it's like a ghost town in there since there is not much activity to discuss :\
