So I have a basic understanding of how to mod for Generals, now i want to know how to make art. Can someone refer me to the program used to make art for generals?

Do you mean you want to change the way units & structures look (skining)? There's a tut over at cncmaps.net on it. Let me know if it's what your looking for. http://cncmaps.net/index.php?showtopic=583

I don't know if that's whatn i'm looking for. I'm looking for a program that can create completely new generals units and buildings, changing shape, size, and things like that. Not just skinning over the ones they've already made. I have some experience with 3D editing so once i get used to teh new program i can go into phase 2 of my first generals mod.

in the CNC3 modding how-to there's mention of a 3dsMAX as a graphics editor for the SAGE engine. Is this true for generals too?
