Hello!
I have an idea for a simple yet spectacular ZH mod map.
Attached is a rough sketch of what it would look like.
Due my own computer illiteracy and lack of time / motivation to dedicate to building this map... I ask someone from the C&C community to help out.
Would love to hear some replies!

Atrocious. Money is ridiculously easy and there is only a tiny choke point connecting the sides of the map.
Stop playing no rush games on money maps.

Atrocious it may look/be. BUT, it would lead to some very exciting and large skirmishes.
It's a typical meat-grinding east meets west sort of map. I've found someone who's going to build it. WOO!

Derek, I usually play 10k/no rules games but 50k/no rush games are fun sometimes too.

No, it wouldn't. It would lead to some very large turtles and massive unit spam into micro-less lag fest, and finally mistmatch.

No. No its not. Especially not on a money map.

I'm with Sunny on this one - a huge mass of tanks vs a huge mass of tanks can be pretty fun every now and then. In fact, its one of the better traits that I like about C&C3 so much.

You know, some of the best RTS games I've had (on RoN, cnc:tib, ra2) were on Left vs right type of maps.
Of course it lacks an element of strategy, but I find it to be enjoyable all the same.
Anywho, the guy who's working on map said it might take 1-2 weeks. Will keep all interested informed!

Can you actually make this map?
The person who originally volunteered to do it has gone quiet and i haven't from him.... :(
So, if anyone else can do this I'd be very very happy.
And will happily pay the person who makes this map..... in gratitude of course!

Why don't you just do it yourself? What you're suggesting literally takes ten minuets to make, plus another ten to learn WB if you've never used it before.

That easy huh? Not for me.... I find that program to hard to use.

I got it done. Look in the ZH mapmaking section where i origionally posted it.
Maybe you could study the simplicity of the map i made and incorporate that into future projects.
And while strategy maps are always the most fun, even i fall for a super money pinch point map now and then.
