I didn't habeeb the believe-it-or-nots, but the montages were all entertaining, especially for those I'd never seen in action. Too bad they never went too far back in time in them.

I was reading that one yesterday-- It's a pretty solid list, but it could easily be altered/expanded. I mean, if we want a representative from capcom, trash Ken and Ryu and give me some megaman! Still, they did a pretty good job.

I personally think Duke Nukem should've been on the VIP list, but maybe I love Duke3D a bit too much. :shrug: Definitely the most popular game characters though.

All in all its a good list, I knew most of them and all of the top 5.

Personally, I think Sonic should be second and Lara 3rd, but anyway.

Indeed. Although the handheld iterations (eg, Sonic Rush) continue the legacy or fast-paced 2D platforming as strongly as ever, they are overlooked in favor of the worse-by-the-year console titles.

To be honest, Gordon Freeman should have been higher up on the list. The Half-Life series is the best in the ****ing world. How about this; based on the list given what would you rate as the top 10, between the top ten themselves and the SIP's listed below them. Mine would be:

The only reason I rate Master Chief lower is because he's only appeared here recently.

Kratos seems a little out of place too.... Don't get me wrong, he's ****ing amazing, but he only has two games, both on one console. Wouldn't the Prince from PoP be better? His games are awesome too, and have a much longer history.

I've seen the Duke Nukem games and they really didn't impress me all that much.
