Movies Through Media Player

I just downloaded the first couple of episodes of the avatar (3rd book) from limewire and tried to play them through media player. When I try to launch them it flashes: "error downloading codec". Is there any way I can fix this?

Try downloading, Combined Community Codecs pack. Just type that into google and it should be the first website. If that doesn't help then next post give me the file extension of the avatar episode, like if its .avi or .ogm.
