For whatever stupid reason, yuri's revenge is refusing to acknowledge that I have C&C:TFD in the drive (well, in a virtual drive - I made an image of TFD on my hard drive). Any help?
EDIT: It happens with Tiberian Sun, Generals, and Zero Hour as well.

What did you use to make the image?

Slysoft's CloneCD and I used Virtual CloneDrive to mount the image. I made the image because my DVD drive was playing up. Why do you ask? Is/are there a better program/programs to create/mount DVD and CD images?

your problem is the fact that you are using a virtual drive.
A lot of pieces of software (including TFD im fairly sure) wont even work if you just *have* a virtual drive, even if you have the correct CD in the drive and you arent using it.
A lot of companies allow the programme in question to see if you have a virtual drive, and regardless of use, wont let the programme work (only instead of informing you thats why its not working, it simply gives you a CD Error).
I know this is certainly the case with slysoft because I have to uninstall that anytime I want to use TFD myself.
So your only choice is to either find a virtual drive that isnt detected (I know of none, they possibly dont exist)
or buy yourself a new copy.

What format is the image in and have you tried mounting with Daemons tools?

It is in .mdf format, and no, I have not tried mounting it using Daemon tools. I tried mounting it with Alcohol 120% and it still doesn't work.

Renegade and the older C&C games are working. It's just the newer ones that aren't.

You need YASU. Look it up. It hides virtual drives from the cd protection games have. That is what I use with TFD.

It seems not to work with Alcohol 120%, which is what I am now using, and I can't install the later versions of Daemon tools on my computer.
EDIT: I found an older version of Daemon tools, and YASU works! Thanks for helping.
