Halo novels

Anyone here read any of them? I bought the original three (First Strike, The Flood, Ghosts of Reach, all based on the original Halo game) at borders in a pack and read them all within two weeks. Theres two more out now, Ghosts of Onyx and Contact Harvest. I've already read Ghosts of Onyx, and it was just as good as the original three. I just started Contact Harvest, and it looks to be just as good as the rest. I have to say, these novels are great for anyone who liked Halo, but wished there was a little bit more background to the storyline. I highly recommend them.

I read the first three a couple years ago, even before I had owned any of the games (just got Halo 2 last May). I really enjoyed them as they give a lot of detail about what happened before hand, and also a lot of little information that you wouldn't think of.

Ironically enough, I just started Contact Harvest. I like it I guess, haven't gotten a good feel for it just yet.

And no I'm not a Halo fanboy, I just enjoy novels that I can relate to I guess :)

I got them before I owned any of the games either. My cousin had Halo, and I had played it and the story had my interest so I bought the books. The books were really good, and I later bought halo and halo 2 for the PC. I just got a 360 so Halo 3 will be coming soon. (even though I've already beat it)

I've gotten everyone of them the day they came out, except Contact Harvest, which I'm too poor to buy right now. I seriously love the books though - they get really deep and have really developed storylines.

I haven't read the books but I've heard they're good. I do plan on getting them eventually.

Ooh I didn't even know there was another one after Onyx in stores yet. I'll have to go get that one, I've got the first 4 and the way they add to the backstory of the games is cool.

Recently a mall opened up in our state, and I hope it would have some of these great Game Books I have been hearing about...
Would extremely like to see some halo (recently played halo 2 campaign although I don't have any of the games, and found that I was pretty good at it... if I only had more time to play it) books and maybe the Command and conquer 3 book (no matter how it turned out... :p)

I read all of them except the last one. I actually got into it after Halo 2 when I saw them at a book store. Good stories. Even got the comic book

I've only read Ghosts of Reach and First Strike, want to read the other ones. They're a little cheesy, but good.
