I used the SLee's tutorials for ZH (I don't know if they're for that or Generals), but anyway I loaded the game and got the technical difficulties error :(.

I used the special power and science tutorials.

read the tutorial carefully and do EXACTLY what it says step-by-step. You probably did something wrong and it only takes one wrong step to mess everything up.

Well, today I spent a while fixing it and I click on it in the game, then the game shuts down and I get the technical difficulties error.

I got this crashes several times while trying some modding. sometimes it was just a tiny error I made, but two times it was because of the limits of GenZH. - My modifications exceeded some specific limits, so the game crashed. try to modify the damage, particle amount, fx etc you did to the new weapon. This was the clue to my problems with that. Good Luck! Madfeld
