What does "CCG" stand for? Command & Conquer Generals?

Never the less, you want to load Flash Effect into the world builder & modify it.

1) Go to your game directory. (The default directory is "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour". But if you installed it some where else, go there.)
2) Open the Maps folder & create a folder there called "Flash Effect".
3) Download -FinalBIG V0.2 (.BIG Editor/Extractor): here: http://cncden.com/cncgen_utility_downloads.shtml (EA Games put the maps in a BIG file called "MapsZH". You need FinalBIG to extract it.)
4) Open FinalBIG.
5) In FinalBIG, open the "MapsZH.big" file in the game directory.
6) Scroll down until you see "Maps\Flash Effect\Flash Effect.map".
7) Select the file (this may take awhile because it tries to display a bunch of gibberish in the window to the right) & extract it to the Flash Effect folder you created in the Maps folder of the game directory. (You don't need to extract the "Maps\Flash Effect\Flash Effect.tga" file because as soon as you save your changes to the map, a TGA file will be created.)(You see the that the "Flash Effect.map" file is in the folders called Flash Effect & Maps folder in FinalBIG. So what you're doing is saving the file in the same folders in the game directory. Once this is done, the extracted file will override the file in the BIG file.)
8) Open the World Builder
9) Go to the Open window & click on "System Maps". Flash Effect should be displayed.
10) Make your changes & save the map. It should work!

If the map has any other files, like INI & WAK, extract those too. But it's not necessary to extract the TGA file. To get rid of your changes, go to the MAP file you extracted & modified. Either delete, rename, or move the file.

If you need help with this, just post your dilemma & I'll troubleshoot.

If I recall Flash Effect was available for download from the Den, which would be a bit easier to do. If it's not, then use MM&P's way.
