Darm this game is way too cool.
C&C Renegade cant match with this game.
Just hope that the future FPS for cnc would be similar to such game.:)
COD 4 just rock!

I've played through the demo and it was indeed a decent game.
I just have to sit and wait for the the full game to magicly appear in my DvD Drive one day. Hopefully Father Christmas will pop it in when I'm all tucked up in bed.

Played some multiplayer last night with two of my buddies. It seems pretty cool, but I'd need more time with it to tell you if it's really any great shakes or not.

The singleplayer campaign just perfect for a shooter - not too long, not horribly short, it's just right. Plus, it's got some serious replayability once you start unlocking those extras, such as uber-frags, matrix mode, extreme contrast mode (this mode actually looks BETTER!) etc. Oh, and need I mention the rather 'short' Aftermath mission...?
As for the multiplayer... I've actually begun to hate it somewhat. I'm not sure why, but apparently most of the other players I've run into online seem to be capable of some insane feats of accuracy in comparison to me. Granted, I'm not an expert with the control setup on a keyboard, but it can get ridiculous at times. I've even been taken out by a sniper who was jumping off a two-story balcony in one fracking hit!

Hehe, it's good on single player missions. Just finished it yesterday. There's even a hostage situation on the plane in arcade mode.
You are going to like it.
But sad ending though (in the storyline)........... I aint telling why. Reviews are good too.
Renegade 2 or whatever FPS for C&C should start using COD 4 engine. Hope the AI is better as well for the upcoming c&c fps..

Crysis is better for graphics, but the Battlefield engine already has many of the features that would be necessary for a CNC FPS. Mind you, both are owned by EA, while the CoD engine is not.

Dude, when the Bungie Halo 2 team went up against the Korean Halo 2 team, an American player dropped the flag off the cliff in Zanzibar, pulled out his sniper and, while jumping backwards and off the edge, pulled off a TRIPLE HEADSHOT.
Anyhow, I love the Aftermath mission (Epilogue) because it forces you to think on your feet. Oh, and the first time I blew the VIP's head right off.

Wrong mission you're talking about bud, I meant the one after "Shock & Awe." But since we're on the topic of "Mile High Club", I managed to clear that one on one try, including the hostage part. Pity you can't save the others, though.:\

Well tbh the large aim assist in Halo 2 doesn't hurt...
COD4 is unreal.
I have been playing it on 360... And wow, awesome. Multiplayer mainly... I am going through the campaign on the hardest difficulty too, but thats insane.

Wait until you reach 'No Fighting in the War Room,' or worse yet, 'Mile High Club' on Veteran difficulty. I promise you Rolk that you will go insane with fury between trying to complete those two alone!

I started Veteran and went to replay mission and it overwrite my save; so needless to say I wasn't happy about starting again. Anyone going for all the intels? I think I have 22 at the moment. :p Awesome game though; the online seems pretty tight too.
I've been switching between COD4 and Ace Combat 6 lately, can't decide which turns me on more :yummy:
