Xbox 360 Live Issues with New Update

I've seen on the official forums that many people as well as most of my friends are having this problem. For some reason, after downloading the new update those with GOLD membership accounts cannot connect to xbox live. However, if you have a silver account, the account will connect and everything is just as normal.

Thankfully I'm still on my Free 1 month of Gold, so my money isn't going down the tube because of this ****ty update.

All issues seem to be fixed. Myself as well as the others who could not connect now can do so easily. Mods can delete this topic if they wish.

Problem's been fixed guys, there may be a few hiccups in the system but its all good now.

Theyre giving away a free XBL Arcade game for the trouble though.

LOL - I have a few problems now. I have purchased Metal Slug 3 through Arcade - and it disconnects me through my X-Box live so I can't play Multiplayer.

I also purchased Double Dragon, however it keeps telling me I only have the trial version.

XBL is working fine on my end. Haven't had any problems since they fixed the x-mas rush situation.
