Seriously, take a trip to St. Augustine or something, see my family's old fort. Jacksonville and Tampa have great music scenes, go to a concert. Go deep sea fishing, parasailing, anything.

It's easy to do. However, and I don't know about Australia, but here in the US, you generally don't find much good in nightclubs. That is, unless you're looking for a quick lay. And you double wrap it.

Say, doesn't Pensacola have a nice Bible college? I'm sure you could have loads of fun there.

I'm not. It's not especially easy or hard, but you have to be okay with getting rejected and realize you don't lose anything; you don't have to be smooth or suave but you do have to not be a jerk, and it's probably good to not "expect" to get a date or anything and consider it a nice bonus if you do more than just dance with anyone.

I tend to stay away from the club scene anymore. Too many whores, not enough doors. I agree with GeneralsDaughter, you wanna meet a REAL woman, go to church. God has saved all the best one's for those who are willing to search in the right places. ;)

As for the nightclubs I frequent, I don't. In fact, I stopped doing much anything social a few months back. THere were many reason, but foremost is this: Most of the social scenes around here involve popped-collar douchebags and girls who care more about how much money you're wearing than how you treat them. I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing with my life, and most of that idiocy just holds you back.

I hope so. Our average nightclub is dark, with thumping music so loud you can't hear either your screams of rage, or the shriek of the girl in the bathroom who just woke up from her roofie-induced nap. Drinks are watered down worse than kool-aid, and cost $5 a pop.

Indeedy. Intelligence school is here. Marine Corps, Navy, Army, Air Force, even Coast Guard come here for intel school. I'm gonna be here for quite some time. Got my Top Secret security clearance just the other day, now all I needa do is get my class and I'm good to go. Oh, and there are nightclubs... going to one tonight as a matter of fact.
