Hi all.
Since it's not easy to find servers with no rules and no whiners these days, I play a lot of Compstomp with random people online. I would be interested to play against most of you veterans, but I'd get slaughtered in no time :D
So anyways, what are amusing strategies you people use against AI's except bunkering in and building 158 SStorms/Nukes/PCannons?
Me being a great GLA fan I learned a lot from other GLA players in compstomp games... like relying on Tunnels and stinger sites more than on my palace to protect myself. I also learned that spreading your base and map control is something quite useful against AI's too if you have a strong economy (2 supply zones and a derrick). Also, harassing seems to be pretty fun against AI's even if it's easier than harassing humans.
Playing against AI's is way more fun if you don't just bunker in and build SW. I mostly build just one Scud Storm to eliminate enemy SW (one toxin Scud Storm is enough to destroy a superweapon in one strike if you give the anthrax gamma like 30 seconds to burn through the last little remains of the health bar)
So what do you do against AI's? What tactics do you like to use, even if they're far from being as challenging as tactics against humans? And which combination of AI generals do you find hardest to beat?
