Is your PC less than two years old? If so, then get The Orange Box or Call of Duty 4 (don't get them for the 360, multiplayer is better on the PC and its $10 cheaper). If you're computer is pretty good (less than a year old and built for gaming), get Bioshock for PC, if not, get Bioshock for the 360. Also get Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii, I think you said you didn't have that. Assuming all of the above are possible, then The Orange Box is the first thing you should get.

No, but I meet the min specs for most games still.

AMD Athlon 3400+, 1 gig ram(have another 1 gig chip to add in when I'm not lazy), and a Geforce 6800 128mb

I'd get SMG, but I guess I should of said I'm also looking for a game I can play online with friends. I can get plenty of single player from Mass Effect and replaying Assassin's Creed(which I want to replay).

I would buy those games for computer, but I'll pay the extra 10 bucks to play on 37 inches instead of my 17 inch monitor. I love me some big screen action.

A 17 inch monitor is bigger when you're only a couple feet away from it...if you're looking for multiplayer, that narrows it down to The Orange Box and Call of Duty 4. Again, I highly recommend getting them (especially The Orange Box) for PC if you can, the multiplayer will be better among other things. If you're wanting to play specifically with friends though (and I mean RL friends), then you never really had a choice to begin with, get whatever they have.

I'm not specifically looking for a game all of my friends have. I have played the Orange Box, and it is fun as hell. Portals is ****ing addictive.

FEAR & FEAR Files :p Totally Oldschool! I dunno about the online community though. Havent played FEAR Files online yet but FEAR had a fairly solid amount of players, didn't have too much trouble finding games.

They were made by a different developer, because the original developer had a falling out with the publisher and the publisher retained the name copyrights. I'm waiting for Project: Origin, the sequel made by the actual developers (they can't use the name FEAR, but they have the rights to all the characters and the story).

Im really enjoying the expansion pack myself. The campaign plays like it was made by the original developers, and since they reused alot of the textures from the original FEAR, it looks the same too; which is fine by me. As for the storyline, I think it could have been a little better, but the atmosphere and everything else that made FEAR popular is mostly all there.

Timeshift is pretty good. I'm Enjoying it quite a bit, except no one plays the online much which sucks badly since the few games I've played online have been great. I need to start playing COD4 online more, as its awesome online, although I do enjoy playing COD2 still.
