the title says it all. Does anyone have any good replays on TD for the toxin general? He's my favorite general, so I wanted to get a basic idea of how people use him on TD.
I've been having a lot of trouble with that map. A lot of aggressive players play this map. I usually get owned really quickly, but I'm learning from my mistakes.

Vs. GLA
1) grab the cars or make technicals and knock out all the exposed workers you can. Tunnel spam with the occasional stinger and keep making scorps or quads, and he's going to have a hell of a time trying to take that land back from you. Remember to box your own supplies in so that the enemy can't get through to your workers. Try using a fake barracks.
2) Tech up with a forward palace now that you're secure behind a wall of tunnels. Get gamma and make several RPG Battle Busses, and don't forget Jarmen Kell.
continued Tunnel spam + Buggies + AKmobs. Make an SW if the game drags on and you've got some BMs.
Vs. China, tunnel spam.
ALWAYS expect a quicklix and be prepared for it with a few quads and your initial RPG troopers. Dozer hunt with techRPG or terror cars early on and/or hit their WF/supplies with a techterror. Make quads or Marauders to deal with whatever vehicle makes it past your toxin defenses.
If fighting infantry general, make technicals and fill them with toxin rebels and RPG troopers as an excellent AO counter. Or you could just go quad + RPG, probably better because it can hurt the airforce. Developed China airforce is your DEATH, so hit airfields ASAP. Toxin Scud missiles are only good if you're fighting infantry, so don't build them in any other situations.
While doing all of the above, you have to watch out for mines. The best way is to fire on an area near a structure with rockets or tank shells. And remember what you can pull off with a scrapped up Marauder, especially against Nuke and vChina.
For the late game, all you have to do is make sure you don't fight when you can't win. Like If you're faced with a team of Overlords + ECM blowing through your flank defense, take the opportunity to send a gamma bus in to rape half his base. While he's distracted, you can move in and anthrax bomb his advancing force. Yeah, make sure you have a command Center after you get those Black Markets up.
vs USA, Tunnel spam.
you make quads and RPGs, and box your supplies with a tunnel. And give him constand tech pressure, along with a dozer hunt. TechRPG is your friend, you can generally smash unprepared vee harassment with it. It's quad + RPG until he gets S&D, though. Then you'll need Buggies and battlebusses to stop them. Aim for that Strategy center with your TTs, otherwise hit his WF/supplies
I don't have any replays because I'm the crappiest GLA player I know (I think I have a fair understanding of what to do, though), so I'd suggest Gamereplays.org's amazing cncreplay section?

Stingers won't do you any good against GLA, they are only useful as anti-lix/commanchee.

Don't go forwards palace, thats just asking to lose it. The five RPGs in a bunker aren't worth it. Put it nice and secure in the back of your base.

Don't use them against "whatever makes it past your toxin defenses", use them as your primary defense. The damage tunnels do is only useful against light vehicles, they're primary purpose is transporting your units, so don't wait for them to die before sending your troops, send them immediately. Just remember to never pop units out of a tunnel that is under heavy attack, they will take heavy damage as they come out. This is why its always good to have at least two tunnels in each area to support each other.
Everything else is good.

Thanks for the site. I've been watching some of the replays. They're all really good :D

So your saying put the palace in the back? I would have never thought to do that. Should I still put the five RPGs inside the palace?

hehe, that makes a lot of sense. That seems to always happen to me. I'll be sure to make that change to my strat...
Any more advise will be helpful.

It can notheless be used to protect your AD. Anything besides techterrors, mobs or buggies, don't get near it. But putting it in the front is clearly an invitation to get it down.

I'm sure Daishi meant this. Then, the tunnels aren't only useful against light vehicles. They're useful against EVERY vehicle except for overlords (tough enough) or quick units like vees or buses (fast enough to escape the toxin hose). Every other vehicle, including tanks are melt down in seconds (this stupidity was corrected by 1.05 and even more by 1.05e).
2 tunnels. Plain correct.
Everything else is good.
Everything else is very good. Article like...;)

Yo C4, you forgot the BM and the airforce. :p And Derek's right on that count. (though I disagree with him on Palace bunkering being super awesome against Tank.
And I'm pretty sure 1.05 is dead in the water by now...

Now, this changes the topic a little bit, but when your going against airforce (playing as toxin or stealth), would you change anything on the strategies above? Whenever I play against airforce, they always bring in the bomber and knock out my workers(and sometime my SC). I always, from the start of the game, go for a second supply source, but he ends up bombing that as well
btw, how can you upload a replay to the forum? I just got raped by nuke, and I want you guys to give me some tips on what went wrong....

Just use the "Manage Attachments" button and attach the rep but zip it first.
Also, I know it may sound bizarre, 1vs1 games are not really fun to play if you're GLA. I always play with the GLA, mostly Toxin or Stealth and team games are much more fun because I believe the GLA has more of a supporting role for your teammates. I remember I played several games where I just harassed the opponents and kept them busy and weak while my teammates could prepare a big army of powerful tanks (laser and emperor)
Just a suggestion though

Just a suggestion thoughI see where your coming from, but GLA is my favorite army for 1v1. You just have to know how to use them ;) You can put tunnels all over the map, and basically crush your opposition within a heartbeart.

It may be if people let it... I played even yesterday on an Hamachi 1.05e server (by Zancloufer) with a mate of mine and it worked pretty well. In fact, this Hamachi thing has a brilliant performance. Much more than i expected. When i do have the oportunity, i'll PM u (or others interested) to have some games.
There are other CWers (and more could join) there so u can expect tough games. Anyway, given the oportunity i'll be there for a game. ;)

It saves them as, some kind of CFR(CrossFire Replay?) file. But I don't know anything about them, how to play them or use them etc etc...
Put replays in your C: \Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\replays or equivalent.
In the game (yeah, the game is needed to watch them):
LOAD >>> LOAD REPLAY
pick one from your list and double click to watch it (make sure you are using the right version for the replay in cause).
