Ok, here is the situation. My dad has the most amazing computer of all time. It is completely decked out with the latest versions of everything, radion processor you name it... its in that computer. i myself have a pos laptop. NOW! My dad is incredible at YR... he has only ever lost i think 4 or 5 times and he was prolly high when this happened. But he told me if i ever beat him, he will give me the computer... MOTIVE?! i think so. Unfortunatly the man is crafty. He is always usa, and will rush me with rocketeers if i dont have enough aa. he always knows. not to mention the infinite amount of paratroopers, and even when i buy an @ss load of aa and flack troopers, he some how manage to pull about 20 tanks out of his ass that i never even saw coming... any ideas. i really want his computer

IFVs and Flak tracks rape rockies. Rush to that WF and pump out a few AA vehicles. Make your WF and your power plant close so that you can quickly defend it.
as for your GI situation, I can only say Sniper and Seal IFVs.

You only have to win once. This means you can throw it all on luck indeed neccesary. So you can try some sneak tactics. try engirush or something..

If he hasn't scouted your base well, then fill up 2 or 3 flak tracks with 5 flak troopers each. He'll come with rocketeers thinking you only have 2 or 3 flaks for AA and then unload them both for a nice surprise. If you are Iraq, you shouldn't have to worry about paratroopers too much once the game gets going; desolators will pwn a whole load of para.
Also, try terror-droning his first tank. Build 1 drone first as soon your WF is up, and sneak it to near his base. As soon as he has 1 tank, drone it. Likely nothing will be able to shoot it even unless his 2nd tank comes fast, so you might get the 2nd tank too, right as it exits.
My dad, on the other hand, is pretty poor at this game and use to lose about 1 out of 4 to a brutal AI. He actually did play online twice in custom games with me watching and coaching him on what to do. The first time he played a really good guy and got destroyed. The second time he play 2v2 and actually was beating the enemy closest to him, but his ally was horrible and so he was soon playing 2v1.

HE WINS!!! it takes a few ours but he always wins.... i tried the flak troopers in the flak tracks. he attacked the north side of my base with tanks, so i sent my squads of rocket soliders and tanks to kill them, and not a second later my flack track were blown up and about 30 rocketeers were in my base ***king it up... i lost. again. i tried the engie rush too. i used 20 of them and he ran them over before i could get his CY. siiiigh. its gay. it has to be the pot.

Huh? There aren't any rocket soldiers in RA2/YR. Maybe you could have meant Guardian GIs, but you were the Soviets so that can't be it either.

If he had about 30 rocketeers then your 15 flak troopers should have decimated them easily.

What? You built 20 and walked them all right up to his base? No wonder you lost, you wouldn't have enough money left to build a proper army. 20 engineers, besides being incredibly expensive, can't stealthily go anywhere.
An engineer walk can work, but only 1 should be walking. Maybe 2 if there are 2 different sneaky paths to get into his base so he might catch one and move his forces to kill it and leave it open to the other. The best way is to send 1 in a flak trak fast. Maybe put a drone inside the trak as well - especially if Redeploy ConYard is on, since then if he packs up his MCV to escape the Engineer, the drone takes apart his MCV.

you could cheat by editing the rules.ini to make rocketeers really weak, and maybe making apocs strong, hes america, your iraq, easy winning, i know its cheating but...meh

Establish a really fast economy ASAP. Make sure he dosen't scout your base and get lots of flak cannons where you think he will attack you. With your WF make AP units like rhinoes to counter his tanks. For added defence, make flak troopers from your Barracks and maybe a terror drone or two to ward off any ground units. Just remember DO NOT let yourself run out of money, or he will bury you.

making loads of flak cannon only works in your disadvantage. The good method is seeing how many rocketeers he makes. If he goes like 20, well, having 3-4 flak tracks is enough. Keeping a flak cannon ready but not deploying it yet also helps. Just when he attacks, deploy it right in front of his rocketeers. Use ctrl+shift (attack-move) with the flak tracks. You'll get soon enough one elite and then his rocketeers will fall like flies in a cloud of toxic.
To counter his paras, you always need to know where he'll be dropping them. Be sure that you have garrisoned the buildings that are close to your base with 1 conscript/each building (not more), else he might do that and then you'll loose buildings. If you garrison them, you'll deny him that option and he'll have a less save spots for his paras. For his first para, have 5 dogs ready. When you see where his paras are coming, quickly place the dogs beneath the paras (spread them a bit out). The next para I assume you'll have a radar, so make 1 deso and deploy that one each time under the para.
Ask your dad to turn on supers. That's in your advantage as soviets.

I loved deso's, I'd put a few of them in an area and nothing would get through.
