Get this: a Korean research team has actually created cloned cats that glow a reddish hue when the lights are off, I kid you not! Granted, it's kind of counterproductive to glow at night, especially if you happen to be a predator, but it's still a really cool trick nonetheless! probably not. if I'm not mistaken, cats can see everything/strong lighting even in a dark room.
these cats are cute, but freaky :freek:

Cool yes. However I often caution in science this - whether we could does not mean or justify whether we always should. Our children will have problems we or our ancestors never gave a thought to.
