Now, I don't know at all how to do modding or skinning - in fact I'm only able to code html:wtf: - although I know its done tweaking the .ini files, but I was wondering about some things.

1. I like the the Westwood approach of strategy-games a lot. Their games have character. When you play a Westwood RTS, it's not just like any another RTS where you just tech up and rush. No, from Dune2 to Emperor, it had personality. This was due to a) Originality - remember Dune 2? and b) Movies - what would C&C be without Kane?
The b) part is what bothers me a bit in Generals. Is it possible to implement movies into the SAGE-game-engine... like what they do for the reporters?

2. Since I have now a dated pc, I'm obliged to go to the mods to get "new" games. Some of these mods are absolutely gorgeous, but sometimes you have the "gimme more" reaction
Is there a possibility to intermingle 2 mods? Example: putting the Shockwave and the Red Alert3 mod together.

3. Now, this sounds like a bit of re-inventing the hot water, but is there a DUNE mod available on SAGE and/or is it possible to implant the W3D-models (Emperor: Battle for Dune) into SAGE?

4. Is it possible to make a "strategical battlemap" into SAGE? (cfr. Emperor)

5. Is monster-spawning possible?

If you're wondering why, well, simply put, I have like an allstars dream, but also including the Dune-side of Westwood + Starcraft's Zerg (disguised as House Bene Tleilaxu) + Borg + Klingon (yes, Startrek).

I know, it's megalomaniac, but nobody died of dreaming ;)

1) It's possible, not sure how though

2) There is a hardcoded limit of 120 upgrades, and 13 AI sets. SHW uses a special 15 set AI, and all of those are needed for the current Generals. Not to mention they are very close to the 120 upgrade limit. It's possible, but you will have to cut some corners.

3)IDK

4) Explain?

5) No

In this scrshot (atreides-blue) has the choice of attacking 1 territory of either the (harkonnen-red) or (ordos-green) bright coloured provinces.
