The really old posts on the forum were pruned (deleted) to save server space. Thats where your posts went.

Sorry guys, but I had to prune the forums. The database had grown quite large. I deleted older threads. With all the games that I cover on CNCDEN and RADEN, the addition of two more (Kane's Wrath & TIBERIUM), plus the many thousands of downloads provided, I have to make sure I have available server space for the future, and of course to ensure the forums run smoothly.

But couldn't you have made it so that we still had the same post count?:( I have lost about 200 posts and I have also mysteriously lost 1 reputation point (it was at 17 before).
EDIT: Now I know why I was getting database errors yesterday.

Your were getting database errors because the MySQL server was down. It had to be restarted. There was actually nothing wrong with the forums themselves. It just won't work when the server is offline.

As far as losing your post counts, I'll check if there's a way to keep that from happening in the future. I don't usually handle the day to day operations of the forums, so your kind indulgence is appreciated.

I only just noticed my post count had changed TBH, noticed earlier that my Rep Power went down 1 point, but eh.

Important thing is the Den is still alive after the worrying Database error yesterday :D

Sorry to say, but postcounts are the least important thing on these forums. Main thing is the working forums with enough space on them to run smoothly.

Ehh it doesn't really bother me now that I know why I lost about 400+ post count. Oh well, I'll regain it back in about two weeks to a month.:p
