I never play online.
This is strictly off line, skirmish against the AI.
I would simply like to be able to add some stockpiles, some oil derricks, ect.
I know how to with Unofficial maps, but currently I am unable to load saves of any Unofficial maps.
Again, not cheating (well, actually making some personal scenarios for yours truly).
What i personally enjoy is allowing several massive supply sources and say me against 2 a.i.
Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.
I dont want top have to go through a whole new map in world builder, but merely add some buildings.
One other point, is there a file where I can increase starting gold past 50,000?
I do appreciate this, I am new here but have done modding (very basic, personal usage) for AOE II Conquerors, Call To Power, RON and RON T & P.
Thanks for any assistance

I was searching through all the posts here and found this jewel:
How to edit official maps is a different & easier story. Though you should've asked this in a new topic so that other members looking for the answer I'm about to give you can find it easier.
Anyway, I believe the official maps were supposed to appear in the System Maps section of the Open window in the World Builder. But EA Games put all the maps in a a BIG file which World Builder doesn't know to look in. So basically, all you need to do is extract the maps out of the BIG file, & they should appear there.
1) Download FinalBIG, http://cncden.com/cncgen_utility_downloads.shtml (It's near the bottom of the page. Basically, all this program does is allow you to view, import, & extract files that are in a BIG file.)
2) Go to the Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour game directory & open the MapsZH.big file with FinalBIG.
3) Click on, Edit -> Extract All (Mine-as-well extract them all so that you can edit them at any time from the Open window. You are sure you want to do this so hit Yes when it asks.)
4) Browse for the Zero Hour game directory & select the files to be extracted there. (See screen shot.)
The extraction may take a few seconds but after that, you should see every official map in the System Maps section of the Open window in the the World Builder! Have fun editing them!
When you edit these maps, it does not make a permanent edit, you can always extract the maps again. When Zero Hour sees that it has the same files outside a BIG file (extracted) as is in a BIG file, it uses the extracted files instead.
Let me know if any of this sounds confusing to you & I'll explain it in more detail.
Thanks for this explanation, it is very easy and loads saves like a charm!
