Official 2008 announcement, not the 2004 mark skaggs announcement.

Nice find but I rather wait to hear an official EA confirmation before I take this seriously.

It seems it is real. It's on several C&C sites. Damn this is going to be good. :hyper:

Man, they sure do seem to be pushing the C&C series into overdrive with three games in production at once, aren't they?

I actually like that picture - thats what RA is too me, more of a comic-based game with goofy units and a game that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Looks to be the genuine thing to me!
Another upgrade of the Sage (water, land textures and models all good a bit smoother and defined). I can see water buildings, and that amphibious Allied ship looks awesome, with tracks under it!

I guess they are. They were taken from a russian game journal called igromania.
And with it there was some info (which they removed in a moments notice)
A lil bit about the story and a new faction.

This pretty much confirms it.

No kidding; they still haven't patched all the bugs in the previous RTS and now they want to make another?

Indeed, I think there are different sections of EA doing the different processes of the different games for C&C. And therein lies the problem!

Sweet on so many levels. So the Soviets and the Allies will battle it out again but who will be the third side Yuri again or will they put in a fourth side? Although it sucks since Nicholas Worth (Romanov) is dead and i wonder who will lead the Soviet Union this time. Then again bringing alot of the older characters back depends how far in time RA3 will go since RA2 takes place I believe in the 70s

What bugs are left? Don't mention DCs, cheaters, or balance, because those aren't bugs.
CNC3/KW support will continue at least until RA3 is released though, and that probably won't be for at least another year (remember that CNC3 was announced at about this time two years ago, and came out one year ago).

He was retarded. Part of the reason that RA2's storyline was taken to be a joke by everyone but diehard CNC fans.

**** you; Romanov was the best entertainment the RA2 cutscenes had to offer.
Agreed on support for C&C3 though.

Its not a problem if each group is dedicated like the C&C3 group, and adding water units does seem like a problem:chin:, WTH are you thinking? That is great, and it is restoring cnc's good name (I know a ton of people who don't like the game and just laugh because all they do is play **** Halo, but I know better then them)
But just as long as they don't screw up I'd be neutral because I just love the games... so sorry if there is any offense I just want to say what I think of your side
RA3 sounds great, and I can't wait until I see some Beta results (even if anyone here isn't lucky to get us some snapshots early)

My point is that there doesn't seem to be one solid team creating C&C and updating the games. There are different people doing different things to the games and different people creating new ones. When this happens you get inconsistencies and the game tends to lose heart.
EA just recently admitted screwing up C&C and its structure, but doesn't seem to be doing anything about it! Get a decently big team of guys, put them into their own building and sure that the only game that touches that building is C&C.
How much communication going on between guys working on different games here, I'm not sure. A lot I hope, but you can't be sure.

RA2 and YR had far worse FMV scenes than RA did.
How can there be cheaters without bugs for them to exploit?

There are three teams working on CNC right now: One on Kane's Wrath, one on Tiberium, and one on Red Alert 3. Since these are all completely different games, there is no conflict here and each team is fully and independently devoted to its game.

Which is my point exactly! I think there should be one team completely dedicated to C&C, all games to be made by this team. Otherwise they are all different games with C&C slapped on them. But hey that's just my opinion. :p

Hmm...
Should we make a petition for them to confer on game play (all 3) and something for storyline use (Tiberium, Kane's Wrath) ? :hmm:
I would hope they would already do that, point taken ;)

The problem then is that you have only one team to develop a game from start to finish, support the game after release, develop the expansion, and support that. All before work on the next game can even begin. Thats far too slow an output for EA and, to be honest, most fans. Having two teams allows them to work on two games at once, releasing new titles more often and expansions between. Tiberium being an FPS, it needs its own developement team with FPS experience, not an RTS team like made Renegade.
