Quick summary:

* Boats are back! For the first time since Red Alert 2, Command & Conquer's got naval warfare again.
* Amphibious Tanks! Someone's been playing Supreme Commander.
* Telsa Boats! The naval action keeps getting better.
* Tesla Troopers, Tesla Coils, & Double-Barrelled tanks are back!
* Naval Bases? Looks like more than just a shipyard in that last shot; I see a power plant as well at the very least.
*It also looks like EA has managed to reproduce the crisp, brightly-coloured look of Red Alert 2

For a very early beta it looks pretty good.

Naval looks awesome, hopefully they also extend the air theatre

Allied units/buildings don't look as streamlined as they were in ra2 though, kinda ruins the allies feel :(, and the in game atmostphere feels bland, probably due to the way the SAGE engine feels, they'll most likely be improving graphics from these early pics.

Don't seem to be any side japanese in any screen shots also, otherwise looks awesome.

We're probably looking at a Q1 2009 release, or even this December in time for christmas.

Also some rumors that there might be RA3 beta keys with preorders of Kanes Wrath.

Anyway, who says we're not looking in these screens at Japan vs. Russia? I think it's possible, considering there aren't that many fitting colors for Japan to take.

I've Pre-orded Kanes Wrath so hopefully I can jump in for the BETA testing of RA3 when KW arrives with the code! (not just rumours, it says about it on EA site)

Once you receive your copy of Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath, look for the Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beta Key Insert and visit the designated website.


To reserve your spot in the Beta program, you will follow the directions to register with the code printed on the Beta Key Insert.
Once you have registered, you will be entered into the Beta queue. Depending on when you register and your location, you will be called upon to activate your Beta key at any given point during the Beta program. Once that time comes, you will be contacted via email with instructions for downloading the Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beta client. You must download the client within the time period indicated to you in the email.

By ordering Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath and registering with the Beta Key before September 15th, 2008, you are guaranteed a chance to play the multiplayer Beta before Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 releases.

Ea thinks that it is good to bring back some more animal creatures, but what faction will those bears be for, I'd think Soviets... or Japan... I don't see the Allies getting into bears (will there still be dogs? imho, no)

Yes, there is still dogs. As mentioned on RADEN in one of Lions latests posts.

- Enemy soldiers freeze upon Allied dogs barking.

If we keep getting these mind controlled animals, Maybe they'll make a series of secret missions like the Dino missions xD

Well, the idea's not definately new (looks like SupCom did it first with the Cybrans), but I guess it is rather fitting for the RA universe, eh?


EDIT: I've been getting some bad vibes about this game now, especially after I saw the pics for Empire Earth III in comparison to RA3. Seriously, look at them alongside each other: the resemblance is FAR too canny to be a coincidence, especially in the case of the Allies and Westerners. Take a look for yourselves:

Id personally like the gameplay more towards Warcraft 3 keeping 3-D object but in a 2-D view------
