Hillside Town:

Game Play:
I think the map needs some more stuff Maybe a supply dock in the middle & few more techs other then oil derricks, since you've already put 4 in.
The base area's are too small for skirmish players. Use the TempBuildingSize Civilian Structure for a guide. If this map is intended to be a Mini Map though, then don't worry about.
The inner perimeters are also to small They should take up most of the base area.
Scenery:
The sandy dirt roads don't look good over the grass. Since you've got a small town in the middle, pavement would look better for the roads. But for the roads that go to the oil derricks, go ahead & use a dirt road, but don't make it sand.
The cliffs are a bit steep. This causes the textures to stretch. Make it less steep & smooth out the pointy peaks you have on top.Winter Death Land:

Game Play:
Two of the base areas are a bit small for the AI on this one too.
Other then that, looks like a fun map.
Scenery:
There could be some indents & mounts in the middle of the map. Not so much as mountain, but light hills would give your map a more realistic look.
Trees would also give it a more realistic look.
The peaks that separate the terrain levels also stretch out the textures, smooth them out to smooth hills. (If doing this allow units to go through them, paint impassable terrain the same way you want a texture. The option is on the lower part of the texture options window.)Both maps:

Game Play:
You've got the waypoint paths labeled wrong. You're supposed to label the entire path, not just one waypoint. Select any waypoint in a path & in one of the Waypont Path Labels fields, type the CenterN, FlankN, & BackdoorN. (N just means one of the numbers) You should then see the text in red appear just under the waypoint name.
Scenery:
Good job on the texturing. Those grass & snow textures look great together.
