I've been messing around with the Map Editor, and made a map.
I put a city in the middle of the map with a small parking lot. Loaded with vehicles. Well, not TOTALLY loaded. Just some basic units like trucks, cars, and some side specific units.
Technicals, Hummers, stuff like that. However, I was wondering... Is it possible to make those units Empty? (I.e, unoccupied so that infantry can go in them and you get them)

I think that should be possible, since they do it in the singleplayer GLA scenario.
The part where you start the battle with 2 seperate groups, one group just plain terrorists, the other a mixture with terrorists & hijackers. The highjackers get ferried over on a boobietrapped beach, while the terrorist group picks up 3 technikals and a radarvan, ...then goes of & find some sympathisers, sabotage the waterways for an opening for the highjackers and blablabla :)
But to find that specific sourcecode.ini thingamjig, good luck.

Are you using just Generals, or the Zero Hour expansion pack. In Generals, you'll have to script jarmen kells to snipe the vehicles. In Zero Hour, there's an action you can choose in a script to just make them unmanned.
So let me know which game you're using. Also, do you know how to create a script & choose an action for it?

That would be Zero Hour.
I find Generals itself a bit bland, so I don't really play it.
Edit: No. I don't. >_>
I really just started using it.

Okay then, I'll just give you a step by step process. I think cncden.com has tutorial about scripting in this section if you'd like to check it out after reading this. http://cncden.com/worldbuilder/ Although it's meant for just Generals, it'll work if you're using Zero Hour.
1) Create a new player in the Player List, (View > Edit Player List...) & give it a Civilian Faction. Name it whatever.
2) Open the script window by either clicking on Edit > Scripts... or clicking on the Edit Scripts button on the tool bar.
3) Click on the PlyrCivilian folder & click on New Script... (This PlyrCivilian folder is set aside for scripts for the map. If you put a script in any of the other folders, it will cause the skirmish scripts not to be activated in your map causing the AI not to do anything.)
3) Name the script whatever you want, like Unman Vehicles, all the other options in the script properties are good.
4) Click on the Actions if true. tab & click on Edit... button or just double click on the null action you see selected to edit it.
5) In the new window that appears & click on the Team folder. (To open it, double click on it or click on the plus, "+", sign next to it. Now open the Status folder, then select the Make unmanned. action.
6) In the lower section of the window where you see, Make Team '???' unmanned., click on the, Team '???',
7) In the new window that appears, open up the drop-down menu & select the player you created.
8) Now close all four windows by clicking on the OK buttons. Now all you have to do it place, infantry, vehicles, or structures on the map under the player you created & they will all be unmanned & given to the player who garrisons them with an infantry guy.
If you have any questions or problems about this, don't hesitate to ask in a reply.

You've got a laggy custom map? Could you upload so I can check it out?

Yeah. Some custom maps I've DLed are HORRIBLY laggy, with only me and one other AI... For some reason. >_<
My map isn't laggy though. And, I suppose I could show you it. Do you have AIM? Give me a message there at Kodan882.

No, I don't have "AIM".
You can just upload you map in a reply though. I'd be able to just download it from there.

Your map may be lagging because of you computers Graphic cards or Ram amount. Still you should upload you map and let one of us see it. If it runs fine on our computers, it is probly your comp that is incompatable with the map. If so, I could help you get it back together right.
