renegade mod editor issue

i cant use the mod editor when i make a map and try to test it the program freezes up and wont work. how many of you have had this problem before. how do i fix it.

I think it would help your case if you named the specific editor that you are using. I don't have any personal experience in using mod editors for renegade, but if some else does, it would help them know what your asking by being more descriptive. ;)
