I now feel relieved to have ticked off images in my profile settings before I read that.

When I got the message, I tried to look up that member before opening. But when I did not find that person, I deleted the messege without opening it.

I was not pleased.
Thanks guys. We're on it and we're looking for a solution so this doesnt happen again.
Apologies, but there is nothing we could have done to prevent it.

Perhaps only allow members who have been registered for 1 or 2 days to PM people?
We're working on fixing it.

If you set it so members who have not confirmed their email cant send PM's (UserGroups in the admin cp.. its off by default for whatever reason) it stops about 90% of them you'll find.
Members can stop it by setting it so only people on their friends list or forum staff can PM them, which is a setting in the user cp.
