Running C&C95 (Tiberian Dawn) on XP

Whenever I try to run this application I get the following error.

"The procedure entry point SMapLS_IP_EBP_12 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL21.dll"

The above message is displayed even if CD is not inserted in drive.

Download the zipfile corresponding to your language (usually English - cnc95_en_xp.zip), and unzip it in your C&C95 directory. It will give you an updated version of the files thipx32.dll and C&C95.exe, which will make the game run perfectly.

Normally you'd need to apply compatibility mode, but this new patch/hack removes that need :)
