punch Hillary Clinton in the vagina, would you take it? (http://unicodiablo.blogspot.com/2008/03/to-vote-for-clinton-is-to-waste-your.html)
Some have expressed opinion that the reason she refuses to give up is, in fact that she is trapped by her historical candidacy. She's the first woman to run, and she's made it quite far.
The problem is, in order to actually win the nomination she has to redefine the rules of victory. Even considering the remaining primaries, assuming the votes are split as they have been in the rest of the country, it is impossible for her to win anything and highly improbable to get enough of a lead on Obama in delegates that she could even make an argument that she really is what the people want.
She's a disingenuous panderer, all politicians are elitist, some less so than others only as long as they're new in Washington. Anyone who thought "Hey I drink Crown Royal and beer at bars just like she does." and subsequently voted for her needs to be taken out back of said bar and had two 9mm rounds forcefully inserted into the back of his or her skull. And yes, that's right, she ordered Crown Royal. I may have been swayed if you bought something that doesn't come in a velvet pouch, or if you'd done a Jager or even an Irish Car Bomb, anything messy would have worked. Though I'm sure you would have had to burn that pant-suit afterwards however, as it would have stunk like pauper.
A gas tax holiday isn't going to help anybody, you can do the math yourselves, I don't know the answer but I know enough to ask an economist. At 1:38 into this clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNnm6TJzv7Y), Hillary says '**** economists'. It's another attempt to garner any and all support from whoever will listen, I mean, hey it's a holiday, from taxes. Where can you go wrong?
Other than the fact that this is planned for Summer of 2008 and most likely could never be passed in time, and serves as proof that she is just one more politician who will tell us little more than what we wish to hear.
This country itself doesn't help, America suffers from a serious cult of celebrity. Clinton is a known name, but really? Bush Clinton Clinton Bush Bush Clinton? We fought a war two-hundred and thirty-two years ago to separate our government from one in which it's leaders are chosen by dynastic succession, and there are still assholes in this country that want it run by two families for twenty-four years.
The rules of the democratic primaries are what they are, it's not about popular vote (as long as you count those who voted in a state where she was the only one on the ballot), it's about delegates. It's not about electability (Seriously, your laugh ****ing scares me), it's about delegates. It's not about experience (which suggests more of the same), It's about delegates.
Ms. Clinton is acting like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum in a toy store, or perhaps a pitbull attacking anything, bite, shake and don't let go until it's dead.
They say she is stuck in her role as the first female presidential candidate. I say, Ms. Clinton, it is time to be a man and know when to concede defeat for the good of the democratic party
