Years ago, aviation enthusiast and inventor Yves Rossy dreamed of soaring through the sky like a bird.

In 2006 that dream took flight.

Known as Switzerland’s "Fusion Man," Rossy in November 2006 became the first man in the world to fly with wings and four jet engines strapped to his body; on Wednesday he displayed that talent to the world.

I think the name Buzz Lightyear would of been more catchy.

RA2 rocketeer. Wooaaahhh!

Tbh, i requires a pair of balls to do such adventure. I always appreciate those capable to paradrop or "fly" in any way. I would die with a heart attack if i ever tried that. I'm just terrestrial. :D

I'm talking about the old Birdman cartoon, not Birdman attorney at law.

Back when it was Falcon 7 not Phil Ken Sebban. And when Avenger would save Birdman in every single episode.

Beautiful- Looks like one hell of a ride- and what a location! I think he sets a new benchmark for ultralight aircraft (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultralight_aircraft).

Yes the good one! :D I miss that old cartoon; that and all the other ones that were out with it. It'd be much better to watch then a lot of the stuff they're putting on Cartoon Network now. I don't really care much for Harvy Birdman Attorney at Law.
