Please excuse this if no one plays LAN with these games anymore, but I was hoping some one here could help me... I have been trying to create a LAN match in both C&C: Renegade and YR, and neither would work. In Renegade, the game doesn't show up on the other PC, and in YR the button for "Network" doesn't even work. If there is some unofficial patch or something, could someone please direct me towards it? Thanks!
PS: if it helps, I use TFD and my friend uses the original discs.

The problem with Yuris Revenge is that your IPX/SPX protocol hasn't been installed. If your using xp go to network connections and go to your LAN connection. Right click and go down and click on properties. From there you need to click on install, go to protocal and click add. IPX/SPX should be one of your choices. Click on the protocol and click install. You should now be able to play Yuri through LAN. As for Renegade, it might be the same problem but I'm not sure. Try that and see if it works.

I am sorry that I didn't mention this in my first post, but I am running Vista Ultimate 32-bit. (EVGA 680i nForce mobo, if it helps) Also, I found a solution for Renegade, using some site that someone on the forums here provided earlier (http://www.starbase01.com/site/index.php?id=22,87,0,0,1,0). It works fine for Renegade, but RA2 and YR still don't work, and I can't set up an exclusive multiplay game for us online, because there is no more WWOL, as far as I am aware. Thanks for responding, though... If you have a tip for Vista, please share :)

WOL may be gone, but it's been seamlessly replaced by XWIS...
