RA3 Better Be Left-Click!

I am sure that many of you will have, like me, grown to adore RA's refreshing use of left-click for gaming, as opposed to the idiotic and inexplicable right-click used by many RTS's. After all, left click is used for nearly all other programs and most games, as well as browsing your OS, so why not RTS's?!?!? The use of right-click, along with units, (C&C MEANS INDIVIDUAL MEN!!!) made me despise C&C 3....

So, I really hope that the left mouse click will be used to control RA3, or at least that we, as the players will have the opportunity to change the mouse settings. It wouldn't exactly be the most difficult thing to code....

I agree with the left clicking!!!!

But ehr, so has C&C3, so... your dispising and stuff......:D

It will probably be an option, like in CNC3, but its not a a gamebreaker, you'll just have to get used to it.

And the reason it exists is all selection is done with left click, and all orders (though in many games special powers are an exception) with right click, which allows for a little more precise control. For example, you could order a tank to move right onto infantry, running them over, by right clicking on the infantry instead of beyond them (you probably would have to give an explicit move command to override the default attack though, which mostly defeats any benefit). Its wonky at first, but you get used to it and it works just as well. Its really just a matter of preference, which mostly comes down to what you're accustomed to from previous games. I use the classic left click, mainly because it keeps me from getting messed up when I go back to ZH.

Eh.. you do know that in patch 1.1 of cnc3 the option of left click orders was given?

I'm sure that just as in C&C3 and Kanes Wrath.
That there will be a box to select for left-clicking on/off.

And if they don't have it at the beginning which would be wiered.
It could always be patched-up thats what Ea likes to do.

TBH I'm going to install my friends copy of the game on my PC.. if it works, woo hoo! If not, might wait a few months and get the 360 version of the game, like i did with cnc3
