Do you think RA3 should be released for the Mac? I think EA should do so. ;) They released C&C3: Tiberium Wars for the Mac but how about RA3? If they do so, it will be safe to use Mac without Boot Camp!:D

If they did it for C&C: Tiberium Wars then they'll almost certainly do it for RA3.

well from what i heard, it was done primarily to increase the amount of people that could use the game, seeing as more and more people use macs these days. If you release a game for multiple platforms, you get more money cuz more people can buy it.

not always true, you have to weigh the development costs of making it cross platform, doing QA and compatability testing etc

Well, if you are planning to play games (does not have a Mac version) on a Mac, play it on a virtual environment such as VMWare. Set the vRAM for the virtual environment between 256MB to 450MB.

You can do that if you feel like having to go to hell and back.

They will, but I'm really not sure why. I imagine the costs to do it are equal or just a tad less than what they get back.

Well try it on a Mac Pro and see.. VMWare Fusion support multi-cores, so maybe that the VM would do fine...
