Do you think EA would release a Map Editor for RA3?

Do you think EA would release a Map Editor for RA3? The FA2YR was built with Matthias Wagner's cooperation w/ EA. I hope that EA would release one w/o an enthusiast's cooperation...

Eventually they will, just like they did with CNC3. It may take some time but it'll eventually come out.

I don't see why they shouldn't.

A lot of the best maps are fan made.

As it has been said, I see no reason why it won't be released. Question is how long it will take them to do so. They know video games have longevity through mapping (and modding).

I remember the map editor for CNC3, it took a while to come out. Hope the RA3 editor doesn't take quite as long.

I agree so fans could play with it and create better maps.

As long as it is based on the Final Alert system and not World Builder. I just can't deal with world builder. Back in the day I was great making maps on Final alert (My trade mark was making large city maps that always contained a military base).
I don't know why I never submitted any, I guess I just thought they would circulate just fine by playing matchs. I play match with 4 people, they play matches with four more people, and the map gets distributed.

I agree it should be based on the FA2 system, but with a better UI and keyboard shortcuts.
