Can't find my posts

While the software correctly totals my number of posts, I can't find the first fifty or so while searching. It's a real shame, since I forgot to archive a great idea I had...

Did the database suffer a critical error or something?

i believe it came from the recent clearing of our databases. We did this several months ago (not sure on the excat date.)

There was a pruning awhile ago. All old threads were removed. So if its from more than a year or so ago, you probably won't find it.

Well the purge was a few months ago, and it removed everything older than six months iirc, so I'm estimating that it comes out to be about a year.

what I find interesting is while he claims his number of posts are correct, when the purge happened, i lost several posts.

I lost a few hundread also.

Maybe he just never noticed his count went down as he doesn't seem to post all that often.

If you prune a forum and you don't update the counters, peoples post counts stay the same, as the forum doesn't recognise the fact the old posts have gone. That is why his post count was different.
