Question about FPS Mods

You know when you install a mod for an RTS it changes the game but if you want to get back to the original game you have uninstall the mod. Do you have to do that with FPS mods?

It depends on what mod you're using.

This depends on the game and the mod, not the genre. Games with good mod support (such as CNC3) will allow you to install and run mods without messing with the game. Good mods will usually run independent of the game as well, depending on how good their coders are.
