I downloaded the River_Valley maps from C&C den. It says you have to do this to install the map.

To Install Map: Unzip file
copy River Valley folder to:
C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR WINDOWS LOGIN>\Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps

Note: The "Application Data" folder is hidden by default. If you cannot see it in windows and wish to access it,
go to the root directory, select "Tools", select "Folder Options" from the menu, click the "View" tab, and select
the "Show hidden files and folders" option under Advance settings. Then click OK.

I did all this and I still cannot see my Application-Data folder. What is wrong? How can I see it?

When it says go to the "root directory" does that mean the C&C3 directory? I went in My Docs changed my view settings and I see no Application or Data Folder.

Unless you're not using Windows XP or Vista i can't help you but if you do, here is what you need to do. You click "start" on your taskbar, find the folder labeled "control panel", open it up and you should see many folders such as (add hardware, internet options, program files and features, folder option, mouse, keyboard etc) open up the "folder option" and click on the tab "view", scroll until you see "hidden files and folder" from there, there should be two options of either "show files" or "do not show files", click show files. If you're using Windows Vista, you are able to access the folder by clicking on your user's folder (administrator, guest, others, etc) If you're using Windows XP, you might be able to access that folder (Application-Data folder) by first going to your local disk1, Users, your name or administrator, App-data. You should be able to locate the folder using this path in both Windows Vista and Xp.

Good luck
