It would be easier to help you if your post made a bit more sense, but I'll give you a couple of tips on borders. For starters, it sounds like you made the borders larger than the map itself, which is a big no-no and what's causing your problem. Second, if you turn on impassable areas with ctrl-I, you should see a blue border. The area inside this is the playable area of the map. The area outside of the border is used for spawning reinforcement teams, etc. I usually have this border size 70, which is accessed in the Resize tool. This tool is what you should use if you want to make the map bigger. Next, if you open the Border tool, you should see an orange border, which should always be the same size as the blue border.
Finally, I'm going to try to help you recover your map. It sounds like making the border bigger than the map itself totally ****ed it up and it's not loading in world builder. Try loading the WorldBuilderAutoSave files, which are located in the C&C Generals Zero Hour Data folder in My Documents. If you haven't been working on any other maps, then these should contain an older version of your map, which you would then save over the broken one. Hopefully this helps you ;)

Um, I thought I told you what to do with them? They should contain an older version of your map, if you haven't been working on anything else. Load it in WB, and then use Save As to replace it with the version that isn't working.

I made that mistake once, making the border bigger than the map itself. Couldn't ever play the map again or load it in WB. Like chaoscontrol said, either load an autosave file if possible or you're screwed.
Also, this is a forum, not an IM message board, can you cut out the IM lingo and l33tsp33k, plz!!11!

that's... odd...
never had any problem like that in my life, with any map...
Honestly, your best bet is to recreate the map as accurately as you can or completely start over designing the map. Save yourself the hassle unless the map was really that incredible.

no u dont get it, i click on the auto save and it loads up world builder, the option tools come up but then it dissapears and come up with an error box saying Serious Error: AmericainInfantryRanger not found! could it have anything to do with my vista that i got recently?

First off, I did understand what happened, although I would have really liked it if you gave that kind of description of your problem the first time around.
Anyways, have you tried opening WB, then opening your autosave, instead of clicking on your autosave to load WB?
I don't see why having vista would be a problem.

Is this problem happening in other maps also, or just this one? If the problem persists, reinstalling Zero Hour might do the trick.
