Surgery...

Well I went and did it again...I herniated myself for the second time in eight years. I guess I ruffled my groin feathers a little too much. I don't know, but there is just something strangely hideous about someone lancing me with a razor sharp knife four inches from my gonads...so hope for the best, please...better yet pray that the doc is not a practical joker.

Surgery is in three weeks...luckily I'm not in too much pain.

I had that surgery in January. I don't remember anything and i feel great. Pain immediately following the surgery though.

You have a degree from the university of life, a diploma from the school of hard knocks and certificate from the kindergarten of getting the **** kicked out of you - you'll be fine mate! Things can only get better, unless you piss off the doctor before you go into surgery...

What worries me now is that I can feel healing taking place around the herniated tissue. Which means in several weeks a salivating Dr. Jekyll is gonna start the pain process all over again. :\

I know how you feel. I had the surgery also when I was younger. Twice in the same spot, cause it came back about 1-2 years later. Good luck.

Now serious... Hernia surgery i something very common these days and very easy to perform and recover from. U'll be like new in no time. I know a surgery is a surgery, but this one is probably one of the easiest.
Tbh, there's nothing to go wrong except for the surgeon being drunk. Watch him closely...:)

Any sort of surgery is no fun cos I don't like the fact that I have to be put to sleep so I really sympathise with ya and hope it all goes well :)

If it makes you feel any better, the theatre nurses probably aren't the same as the ones that fluffed your pillow :p

oh and having seen enough operations to know, you have a good chance of hitting them with the second barrage just as they are wiping up the first! :color2:
