I know it is way too early to seriously talk about mods or get any conclusive answers so I thought it might be cool to make a what-if thread. What mods would people like to see? are there any people who think they might want to get into modding? with how sophisticated graphics are is that a legitimate request? How long do you think it would take?

Personally I have always been an extreme mod fan so I really hope it happens. I'd definitely like to see a Yuri mod (who wouldn't?) but a nazi/germany mod would be really cool too.

do you mean like a TC or added sides? What factions would you want it to be split up into?

Stargate mod, I love that series.

Allies could be made into 3 factions, Earth (Tau'ri), Free Jaffa and Asgard.

Soviets could be turned into Ba'al, Anubis and Apophis.

The Empire of the Rising Sun could be turned into the Ori.

This could be managed somewhat like RA2, with different countries getting seperate units that diversify them a bit. For example in RA2, the Allies had America, France, Germany etc., the Soviets had Russia, Cuba, Libya etc., and Yuri was by himself.

Totally modding RA3 as soon as they release the SDK and editing tools for it.

When it releases, we'll see about the content of the mod.

Definitely gonna mod RA3. Probably not as extensively as RA2 but a BWR: RA3 is definitely coming. :p

So you are saying you are pretty certain modding will not only be possible, but among others you even feel onfident you will be able to do it? Well that is quite the relief to me. I suppose I couldn't beg you to think about a hardcore Yuri mod... :)

I've just been worried cuz I did a quick check online and didnt find many CNC3 mods and that made me think people couldn't do it too easily which made me worried about the even more sophisticated RA3.

CNC mods haven't really had enough time to really blossom and flourish. Just give it more time. Modding takes time, alot of it.

Once I learn the syntax of everything and how the files are organized I can get pretty proficient at modding it, though.
